My work documents my personal enhancements in evaluating and reframing personal, sociopolitical, political and cultural issues. I try to deconstruct concepts promoted by system and media addressing gender roles, “media invented reality” and “government promoted reality”. This is valid not only for my visual art but also for my work as an author and director. To work interdisciplinary is of utmost importance to me because it is the wide variety that I find most enriching. All of it derives from my search for understanding and communication. Mainly I work with audiovisuals using film (8mm, 16mm, 35mm) and video. All works are based on concept. My sculptures, pictures and paintings always stand in context to my film projects. Conceptually I work with the idea of archives: Nothing is fully matured and thought-out; we collect, reframe and reinstall permanently reverting to a huge archive of images, thoughts, lies, and experiences.
